Heated debate erupts at Tuesday School Board meeting on mask and vaccination policy

Effective Januray 5th, masks will no longer be required in schools.

After three hours of discussion, public comment verging on outcry, the Hanover School Board has elected to amend their current mask policy. Anti-mask activists exclaimed emotional cheers of joy once the result of the vote had tipped in their favor. The final vote was 5-2 in favor of eliminating the mandate, only John Smith of Ashland and Jane Doe of Chickahominy supported the current health measure.
